Mothers are a blessing from God and stars just like other people would love to share pictures of their mothers from time to time to appreciate their sacrifices.

On the eve of Mother’s Day in Iran, we would like to share some pictures of Iranian stars and their mothers.

Iranians commemorate the national Women’s Day and Mother’s Day on the 20th day of the lunar Islamic month of Jamadi al-Thani, which marks the birthday anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (AS), Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)’s daughter and the wife of Imam Ali (AS), the first Imam of Shia Muslims.

This year, Mother’s day falls on Wednesday.

1-Amir Jafari

The popular actor, Amir Jafari, is best known for his series ‘I’m a Tenant’, ‘The Forbidden Fruit’ and ‘Madness of Love’.

The 46-year-old actor has also appeared in several movies, including ‘Down and Out’.

2- Mehraveh Sharifinia

‘Kimia’ star Mehraveh Sharifinia, 39, is the daughter of Azita Hajian, who has appeared in the series ‘Imam Ali’ (AS), ‘The Green Journey’ and ‘Until Being with Sorayya’.

3- Hamid Goudarzi

You may know Hamid Goudarzi for his roles in the series ‘The Fifth Sun' and 'Passenger from India'.

The 43-year-old actor has also taken part in various movies such as 'Left-Handed' and 'Checkmate'.

4- Niki Karimi

Niki Karimi, 49, is an actress and director.

She gained fame from her role in 'The Bride' (1990) and 'Sara' (1991).

Her works also include the series 'Women Are Angels' and 'Hot Chocolate'.

5- Behnoush Bakhtiyari

Behnoush Bakhtiyari, 45, has taken part in a great number of movies and series, including ‘Checkmate’, ‘Ten Figures’, ‘Goodbye Child’, ‘Detour’, and ‘The Good, the Bad and the Ugly’.
